The last time I went to Whole foods store to purchase organic gummies was over a year ago, and why? They were over $10lb and disgusting. But, I accidentally clicked on an ad on someone's blog that led me to Wholesome gummies, a brand I've used before, for other categories. So I went back to whole foods to try their Swedish fish for myself, even though I'm not a big fan of Swedish fish, but alas, even though they should have been there, I could not find them, however back to the bulk section they did have the watermelon rings at a whopping $10.99/lb, so I bought a mere 8 of them. That is less than 1/4 lb and $2.49. Yikes. That's over $.31 each.
So what was the verdict? They were great. I'm definitely going to buy these in bulk sometime as I wish to save money on my non-gmo project verified, USDA organic choices. It almost had a sourness to them, that last years losers lacked (and I bought sour gummies) and a refreshing flavor that was closer to an authentic fruit taste than chemical candies tend to have. I did not take a picture because I finished them soon after I bought them, you can't blame me, they were so good and only 8. Someone put them in my Stocking for Christmas please.
