Inchelium Garlic Review

A few months ago I received two bags of garlic from Rareseeds.com . One hard-neck variety called Sinnamahone, which I thought I'd like better, and Inchelium, a soft-neck variety. I tend to get an upset stomach from the Allium family, but since real garlic isn't sold in US stores, I decided if I wanted it I would grow my own. However, I could not wait for them to grow to see if they really do taste differently from each other.

So I sampled the cloves when they arrived. Not only did the Inchelium variety not upset my stomach but it tastes so much better than the Sinnamahone, which was still great. However, the Inchelium has a perfectly balanced flavor without obnoxious heat.

I put the bags into the refrigerator for 6 weeks and am growing some of the cloves in containers under homemade lights and the window sill.

The flavor is so good I want to add it to everything.
